Ramadan is always one of the most anticipated months for our Muslim brothers and sisters because it is a time for self-reflection and gratitude for what we have in our lives. It is a time for family reunions and community gatherings all over the world to commemorate this blessed month. It is also a time to consider those who are less fortunate than us and may go without food and clean water all year.
Last year, with your participation we have supported thousands unfortunate around the world including refugees who have lost their homes and livelihoods, widows who are struggling to provide for their children, families devastated by war and conflict, vulnerable families affected by COVID-19 and orphanages institution that support kids that lost their parents.
As we go bigger and wider we would like to approach more needy around the world and giving iftar is one the most significant for the people in need in the blessed month of Ramadan. This iftar pack will include main dishes, fruits, drinks and appetizers.
” Whoever offers meal to his/her Muslim brother/sister at the time of iftar (the meal eaten by Muslims breaking their fast after sunset during the month of Ramadan), s/he receives as much reward as s/he has earned. Nothing becomes less of the reward of those s/he offered meal to.” (Tirmidhî, Sawm: 82; Ibn-i Majah, Siyam: 40)
