“We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.”
The month of Ramadan is only a few days away before Muslims around the world welcome the arrival of Syawal. Likewise in Malaysia, more than 60 percent of the total population in Malaysia will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with joy every year.
So, of course, preparations need to be made. However, due to the cost of living and the soaring prices of goods today, there will be some preparations that cannot be realized by a few families due to financial constraints. Among them are families who are less able or poor. After all, we have also received several messages from a family that is less able to get Eid clothes for their children.
This family consists of those who cannot afford to support many family members. Imagine that with only this insufficient income, surely they cannot afford to meet the needs of the family. Not to mention to celebrate Eid al-Fitr more lively.
Buying new clothes is part of the fun of celebrating Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, we want these less fortunate family members to also experience the joy of buying new clothes after a month of fasting. Hopefully, this donation can help the recipient’s burden while also enlivening the whole family’s Eid al-Fitr celebration.
