In Yemen, single mothers face unique challenges as they strive to provide for their families. Limited access to employment opportunities, economic instability, and social barriers often make it difficult for them to secure a sustainable livelihood. Empowering these resilient women through sewing machines not only enhances their skills but also contributes to their financial independence and self-confidence. This project aims to support single mothers in Yemen by providing them with the tools needed to become skilled seamstresses, allowing them to create a better future for themselves and their children.

The “Empowering Single Mothers in Yemen” project is a collaborative effort that aims to provide sewing machines to single mothers across various regions in Yemen. The project focuses on providing high-quality sewing machines to single mothers who demonstrate a commitment to earning their own income to support their families. These sewing machines are designed to meet diverse sewing needs, allowing recipients to produce a wide variety of products, from clothing to accessories.

This project aims to achieve several important results, one of which is to empower the Economy. Single mothers will have the opportunity to generate a stable income, thus reducing their dependence on outside help. With the sewing skills they already have and the sewing machines they have acquired, they can set up small sewing enterprises, potentially creating employment opportunities for others in the community and contributing to local economic growth.

In addition, the project also aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of single mothers by providing them with the sewing machines they need to succeed. By investing in the empowerment of these women, we not only empower them but also contribute to the overall resilience and progress of Yemeni society. Lets together, we empower these five selected poor women or single mothers by providing sewing machines worth RM917 each to create a brighter future for these strong and determined individuals, enabling them to overcome adversity and build a sustainable path to prosperity.
