The end of the year is approaching, and with that comes the monsoon season which brings a high risk of flooding in some areas, especially in states that are often affected such as Kelantan. This time, we can make a big difference and provide immediate help to those in need! This state is one of the most affected when floods hit. Recovery here requires immediate and ongoing support. With our focus in Kelantan, we want to make a bigger impact and help the local community recover from the bad effects of the floods.

From Nov 2023 to Jan 2024 it is predicted to witness heavy rain in Kelantan

According to local news (TV3), the flood situation in Kelantan worsened yesterday. More than 4000 victims have been evacuated.

Floods not only result in loss of property, but also rob people of basic needs. Thousands of families were forced to leave their homes with only the clothes on their bodies. Losing a place to live and personal property is a very deep grief. This is why we want to raise funds to provide relief supplies to flood victims.

As of 8am yesterday, the number of flood victims in Kelantan increased to 4,530 people from 1,462 families, compared to 4,398 people from 1,405 families, all victims are now sheltering in 14 temporary evacuation centers (PPS). Meanwhile, three rivers in Kelantan passed the warning level, namely Sungai Golok in Pasir Mas which recorded a reading of 17.26 meters (m), Sungai Golok, Tumpat (2.22 m) and Sungai Semerak, Pasir Puteh (2.12 m).

The funds collected will be used to obtain and distribute much-needed equipment to those affected, which is a total of 50 victims. We will provide clean clothes, blankets to provide warmth, and food to ensure their nutritional adequacy. You can help by donating some money to help us get and distribute the supplies.
