“The first person who benefits from an act of charity is the benefactor himself, by seeing the changes in himself and in his manners, by finding peace, by watching a smile form on the lips of another person.”
Many people think that many Muslims live in the Middle East such as Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and so on. But many people do not know that Bangladesh is also the fourth largest Islamic country in the world that practices Islamic teachings after Indonesia, India, and Pakistan. The total population of Bangladesh also has the largest number of people and the number of people who are Muslims is approximately 88% of the population. Therefore, many people in Bangladesh will make preparations when the month of Ramadan arrives.
However, the people of Bangladesh are facing many difficulties in continuing their lives. This situation occurs because the country of Bangladesh often experiences climate change such as being hit by storms and major floods that can destroy homes, loss of sources of income, loss of job opportunities, and can experience a severe clean water supply crisis. In fact, according to the WHO, by 2050, the number of people in Bangladesh who will lose their homes due to climate change could reach up to 13.3 million people. In addition, due to climate change, Bangladesh has been classified as the poorest country in the world since it became independent in 1971.
Therefore, let us share our sustenance by providing food baskets and iftar meals for the poor so that it can provide benefits, and reduce the suffering and misery faced by the people of Bangladesh. We express our appreciation to all contributors for being willing to contribute to the people of Bangladesh in this blessed month of Ramadan.
