Yemen holds one of the highest poverty rates in the middle east where more than 10 million people live less than 2 dollars a day and has no enough food to eat. Kids and women are the riskiest individuals who suffers from hunger and did not receive enough nutrition for their growth.
Yemen suffers the worst humanitarian crisis in the world and people are suffering from hunger. Ramadan is the most blissful month for them as people give more and competing to do as much good as they can to get the multiple rewards. However, their suffers continue when Ramadan ends and they are fighting to feed the families throughout the year.
Therefore, we are planning to open a Needy Bakery as a long-term solution to fight hunger in Yemen. Needy Bakery is a waqf project that will distribute free bread for refugees in Yemen.
