Al-Quds, also known as Jerusalem, holds a special place in the hearts of many. Amidst its historical and cultural significance, the elderly population of Al-Quds faces unique challenges that require attention and care. Access to essential personal care supplies is a critical aspect of ensuring the well-being and dignity of the elderly residents.
For the elderly, maintaining personal hygiene goes beyond physical comfort it contributes to their overall health and self-esteem. In Al-Quds, where the elderly form an integral part of the community, addressing their personal care needs is an essential endeavor.
The elderly population in Al-Quds faces several challenges that impact their access to personal care supplies. One of them is economic disparities that can hinder elderly individuals from affording essential personal care products. Addition, limited access to healthcare facilities also had wight restrict their ability to acquire necessary supplies and receive proper medical attention.
That’s why, this project aims to ensure that elderly individuals have consistent access to basic personal care essentials such as hygiene products, incontinence products (disposable or reusable adult diapers), mobility aids (canes, walkers, or crutches) and nutritional supplement because proper nutrition is a cornerstone of healthy aging and for maintaining physical health.
By addressing the challenges they face and implementing collaborative solutions, Al-Quds can further strengthen its legacy as a city that values the well-being and dignity of every individual, regardless of age or background.
So, by providing and donate basic personal care essentials to 20 elderly in al-Quds not only addresses their immediate needs but also upholds their dignity and overall well-being during these challenging times.
