As the population of elderly individuals continues to rise in Nigeria, the need for adequate personal care supplies tailored to their specific needs becomes increasingly important. Ensuring the comfort, health, and overall well-being of the elderly population requires a comprehensive approach that addresses their unique requirements.
However, lack of personal care for the elderly in Nigeria can have significant and far-reaching impacts on their well-being, health, and overall quality of life. One of the bad potential consequences is dependency on others.
When elderly individuals do not have access to the necessary supplies, they often become more dependent on caregivers or family members for assistance with daily tasks. This dependency can be emotionally distressing for both the elderly person and their caregivers, and it may limit the senior’s sense of autonomy.
That’s why, this project aims to ensure that elderly individuals have consistent access to basic personal care essentials such as hygiene products, incontinence products (disposable or reusable adult diapers), mobility aids (canes, walkers, or crutches) and nutritional supplement because proper nutrition is a cornerstone of healthy aging and for maintaining physical health.
Access to personal care supplies is integral to maintaining the comfort, dignity, and overall well-being of the elderly population in Nigeria. So, by providing and donate basic personal care essentials to 20 elderly in Nigeria not only enhance supports their emotional and psychological health but can contribute to creating a more inclusive and caring environment for Nigeria’s elderly citizens.
