In recent years, Syria has faced numerous challenges, and its elderly population has been particularly affected. The lack of access to basic necessities, including personal care supplies, has put a significant strain on the elderly community. Addressing this issue is of utmost importance to ensure the well-being and dignity of Syria’s senior citizens.
For elderly individuals, maintaining personal hygiene is not just a matter of comfort, but it also contributes to their overall health and well-being. Unfortunately, many elderly Syrians face challenges in accessing these basic necessities due to the ongoing crisis.
The elderly in Syria are confronted with a multitude of challenges that hinder their access to personal care supplies. One of them is, the economic instability in Syria has led to high prices and limited availability of essential items, making it difficult for seniors to afford personal care supplies.
Efforts to improve the situation for elderly Syrians require a multi-faceted approach involving various stakeholders. Therefore, we focus on providing humanitarian aid that includes personal care supplies for ensure a steady supply of hygiene products to those in need.
That’s why, this project aims to ensure that elderly individuals have consistent access to basic personal care essentials such as hygiene products, incontinence products (disposable or reusable adult diapers), mobility aids (canes, walkers, or crutches) and nutritional supplement because proper nutrition is a cornerstone of healthy aging and for maintaining physical health.
The challenges faced by the elderly in Syria regarding personal care supplies are substantial, but not insurmountable. By combining the efforts of public, and educational campaigns, it’s possible to improve the quality of life for elderly Syrians.
So, by providing and donate basic personal care essentials to 20 elderly in Syria not only addresses their immediate needs but also upholds their dignity and overall well-being during these challenging times.
