As the population of elderly individuals in Pakistan continues to grow, there is an increasing need to address their unique personal care requirements. This project aims to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enhancing personal care supplies and support for the elderly population across the country. By offering tailored products and services, this project intends to improve the overall well-being and quality of life for the elderly in Pakistan.
If elderly individuals do not have access to enough personal care supplies, it can have various negative consequences on their health and well-being. Lack of toiletries, incontinence products, and bathing supplies can result in skin infections, urinary tract infections, and other health issues. If they are unable to use assistive devices such as walkers, they may have difficulty moving safely, increasing the risk of falls and injuries. Because of this, a lack of self-care supplies can cause emotional stress and low self-esteem.
That’s why, this project aims to ensure that elderly individuals have consistent access to basic personal care essentials such as hygiene products, incontinence products (disposable or reusable adult diapers), mobility aids (canes, walkers, or crutches) and nutritional supplement because proper nutrition is a cornerstone of healthy aging and for maintaining physical health.
To address these concerns, it is important to ensure that elderly individuals have access to an adequate supply of personal care items. So, by providing and donate basic personal care essentials to 25 elderly in Pakistan not only enhance their physical well-being but also preserve their dignity and quality of life.
