Al-Quds usually refers to Jerusalem, which is a city of significant religious, cultural, and political importance to multiple communities. The lack of school supplies there could involve various complex geopolitical factors in the region. Among the reasons why this happens is that certain areas may receive more attention and funding than others, affecting the availability of school supplies and educational resources.
Furthermore, some areas may depend on outside aid for educational resources. Political and logistical challenges may affect the consistent delivery of aid, leading to shortages. In certain neighborhoods or communities within Jerusalem, families might rely on humanitarian aid to meet their basic needs, including education and school supplies.
Therefore, the objective of this project is to increase the accessibility of quality education for children and youth throughout Al-Quds, regardless of their socio-economic background or location. Because, the war has significantly affected Al-quds’s economy, causing a lack of funds to provide basic resources such as textbooks, stationery, and a proper learning environment.
Furthermore, there are several reasons why school supplies are important for children in Al-Quds. Among them is to facilitate access to education because, without sufficient stationery items, students may find it difficult to take notes, complete assignments or participate in activities effectively. Also, when they have their own school supplies, it can give children a sense of ownership and pride in their education. It can also increase their self-esteem and motivation to learn.
Addressing these challenges requires concerted efforts from the community. By empowering this project, we are committed to unlocking the true potential of Al-quds youth and building a brighter future for generations to come. So, we need your support to donate school kits for 50 students, i.e. uniforms, notebooks, bags, and stationery. Together, let us take the first step towards a prosperous and educated Al-Quds, where every child has the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive.
