Yemen’s education system was facing significant challenges due to the ongoing civil war that began in 2014. The conflict has severely impacted the country’s infrastructure, economy, and social services, including education.
School closures and damage to facilities have been significant issues in Yemen due to the ongoing civil war. The conflict has resulted in the disruption of education services, making it difficult for children and young people to access quality education. Indeed, children in Yemen indeed needed school supplies, including bags and stationery, to attend school and participate in their education.
Therefore, the objective of this project is to increase the accessibility of quality education for children and youth throughout Yemen, regardless of their socio-economic background or location. Because, the war has significantly affected Yemen’s economy, causing a lack of funds to provide basic resources such as textbooks, stationery, and a proper learning environment.
Furthermore, there are several reasons why school supplies are important for children in Yemen. Among them is to facilitate access to education because without sufficient stationery items, students may find it difficult to take notes, complete assignments or participate in activities effectively. Also, when they have their own school supplies, it can give children a sense of ownership and pride in their education. It can also increase their self-esteem and motivation to learn.
Addressing these challenges requires concerted efforts from the community. By empowering this project, we are committed to unlocking the true potential of Yemeni youth and building a brighter future for generations to come. So, we need your support to donate school kits for 50 students, i.e. uniforms, notebooks, bags, and stationery. Together, let us take the first step towards a prosperous and educated Yemen, where every child has the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive.
