Meet Amatullah Saidu Abubakar, a young and resilient girl from Bavehi, Nigeria, who is determined to overcome the odds and continue her education. Amatullah’s life has been marked by adversity, but with your help, we can give her the chance to build a brighter future.
Amatullah, born on March 12, 2011, is a 12-year-old girl facing life’s challenges head-on. She is the middle child among her 12 siblings. Tragedy struck her family when her father, Saidu Abubakar, passed away on April 10, 2022, due to a sudden heart attack. Left without their primary breadwinner, the family has been struggling to make ends meet.
Amatullah’s mother, Lubabatu Salihu, is a strong and determined woman who has taken on the role of guardian and sole provider for her children. She sells firewood to make ends meet, but her meager income isn’t enough to cover the basic needs of her large family, let alone support Amatullah’s education.
Despite the financial hardships, Amatullah is committed to her education. She currently attends Raviya Primary School and is in Primary 5. Her dream is to complete her education and become a teacher one day. She believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and giving her family a better future.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Amatullah one step closer to her dream of becoming a teacher and improving the lives of her family.
