Meet Said, a bright and determined young boy born on October 26, 2023, in the beautiful coastal city of Mombasa. Said’s life took a difficult turn when he lost his father, Hassan Mohamed Gangombe, to lymphoma on March 23, 2015, leaving him and his four siblings in the care of their loving mother, Sawiya Abdulaziz Rashid.
Said is the eldest of five siblings, and their family has faced many challenges since the passing of their father. They live in the village of Mwanyambo, Mombasa, and their life revolves around small-scale farming. Unfortunately, recent years have brought them hardship due to climate change, which has led to drought and the loss of their forest and animals. Said’s mother, Sawiya, has been struggling to make ends meet to provide for her children.
Said, a tenacious young boy, is currently in Grade 2 at his school in Mwanyambo. He dreams of becoming a doctor one day, but his education is at risk due to the family’s financial difficulties. Said’s mother, despite her best efforts, is unable to meet all the expenses required to support Said’s education and the basic needs of the family.
Your contribution can make a life-changing difference for Said and his family. Your support will help Said continue his education, ensuring that he has access to the resources and tools he needs to thrive. Additionally, your generosity will alleviate the family’s financial burden, providing them with the basics they need to lead a decent life.
Please join us in our mission to help Said build a brighter future. Your kind donations will not only help secure Said’s education but also offer hope and stability to a struggling family. Together, we can make a profound impact on their lives and empower Said to fulfill his dreams.
