Meet Sufiya Binti Isa, a bright and resilient 12-year-old girl who has faced more challenges in her young life than most of us can imagine. Sufiya, born on September 10, 2010, in Chroy Metry Ler, Ressey Chroy, Mok Kampol, Kandal, is the epitome of strength and determination. As a young orphan, she carries a heavy burden on her tiny shoulders, but her dreams shine as brightly as her smile.
Sufiya was born into a loving family, with four siblings, in the heart of Cambodia. Her father, Kop Sa, was the family’s sole breadwinner. Tragically, on November 1, 2022, Sufiya’s world turned upside down when her father lost his battle against a debilitating liver condition. Left behind with her mother, Som Binti Tollah, who works as a fish seller, the family’s income is insufficient to meet their basic needs, let alone provide Sufiya with the opportunities she deserves.
Despite the hardships she faces, Sufiya is determined to continue her education. She currently attends Grade 6 at her local school in Chroy Metry Ler, Ressey Chroy. She understands that education is her ticket to a brighter future, and she is passionate about achieving her dreams.
We are reaching out to compassionate individuals and organizations to help change the course of Sufiya’s life. With your generous support, we can ensure that Sufiya receives the care, education, and opportunities she so rightfully deserves.
