Meet Asma u Hassan, a brave and determined young girl from Bauchi state, Nigeria, born on April 5, 2012. At the tender age of 11, Asma has faced more hardships than most of us can imagine. She is the second youngest of 12 siblings, and her life took a tragic turn when her father, Hassan Ibrahim, succumbed to tuberculosis in October 2017. Left with the sole responsibility of raising her children, Asma’s mother, Saudatu Musa, has been working tirelessly to provide for her family.
Since the untimely death of her husband, Saudatu has been the backbone of her family. She earns a meager income by selling cola nuts on the streets, but despite her relentless efforts, she struggles to make ends meet. With 12 mouths to feed and the burden of ensuring her children receive an education, life has become an uphill battle for Saudatu and her family.
Asma u Hassan is a bright and eager student currently attending al-Hilal School Yaku Kianka. She is in Primary School 4 and has dreams of a brighter future. However, due to their financial constraints, Asma and one of her siblings are the only ones attending school. The rest of her siblings are left idle at home, with no access to education or opportunities to improve their lives.
Your support will not only alleviate the immediate financial burden on the Hassan family but will also give Asma u Hassan and her siblings the opportunity to receive an education and build a brighter future. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and ensuring these children have a chance at a better life.
Asma u Hassan and her family have faced unimaginable challenges, but with your help, we can change their story. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a significant impact on their lives. Let’s come together and empower Asma u Hassan to chase her dreams and provide her siblings with the opportunities they deserve. Together, we can make a difference and give this brave young girl the chance for a brighter future.
Donate today and be a part of Asma’s journey to a brighter tomorrow!
