Continuous rains pouring on Friday have caused rivers to overflow, flooding numerous major cities and blocking off important routes, stranding thousands of motorists.
More than 30,000 people have been displaced across eight states and territories, with over 14,000 of them fleeing their homes in the central state of Pahang and nearly 10,000 fleeing their homes in Selangor.
Over 66,000 personnel from the police, army, and fire department have been mobilized across the country to assist in the rescue and transportation of people stranded by flood waters. It was an unexpected disaster in Selangor area, execution process takes almost more than 12 hours as the road closed and the wave were strong that put the rescue team on caution.
Since the raining stop, the flood slowly gone but it leave a huge disaster to more than 10,000 homes all over Malaysia. Malaysian, despite of any religion, ages, states has united to help the flood victim to recover. However, all their furniture, electronic appliance, and basic house equipment were badly damaged and nothing can be saved. They need to start their years of handworks all over again.
