Surau Nur Jannah terletak di Gombak batu 7 dan dibina berasaskan kayu yang usang. Surau Nur Jannah menjadi tumpuan penduduk untuk menunaikan ibadah solat dan tempat untuk anak-anak kecil belajar mngaji serta menghafal Al-quran kerana masjid terletak jauh dari tempat tinggal mereka.

Seramai 30 orang kanak-kanak mengikuti kelas pengajian di Surau Nur Jannah.

Penduduk sekitar berhasrat untuk menaiktaraf Surau Nur Jannah kepada sebuah masjid bagi memudahkan urusan ibadat penduduk setempat. Namun, Surau Nur Jannah dibina di atas tanah persendirian milik salah seorang penduduk Kampung Sungai Chinchin.

Oleh itu, sebagai langkah pertama kami ingin membeli tanah tersebut dan menjadikan ianya tanah wakaf untuk menaiktaraf surau kepada masjid.

Kos yang diperlukan untuk membeli tanah tersebut ialah RM70,000.

Rasululllah ada berpesan

‘‘Sesiapa yang membina masjid kerana Allah, Allah membina baginya rumah di syurga kelak (binaan) seumpamanya.”

(Hadith riwayat Muslim)

Surau Nur Jannah located at Gombak Batu 7 has become the center to perform congregational prayers as well as the place to hold any social events for the Muslim community in Sungai Chinchin for many years as the mosque is located far away from where they live.

Over 30 children attend Quran classes hold by the imam of Surau Nur Jannah. During the class, there was taught how to recite the Holy Quran and some of the children learn how to memorize it.

The villagers intend to upgrade Surau Nur Jannah into a mosque that could benefit more than 300 people in the area.

However, Surau Nur Jannah was built on private land that belongs to one of Kampung Sungai Chinchin’s villagers.

In order to avoid any circumstances in the future, imam and the board members of Surau Nur Jannah are planning to buy the land which cost RM70,000.

Once the land has been bought and turn into waqf land, we can start the development process to upgrade Surau Nur Jannah.

Please help us to acquire the land so we can build a masjid.

Rasulullah has a message

“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in heaven in the future (construction) like that.” (Hadith of Muslim history).
